User Instructions
Description
The DND® Folding Respirator is a disposable half-facepiece, non-powered air-purifying particulate respirator intended for use in healthcare settings by healthcare personnel (HCP) to cover the nose and mouth of the wearer to help reduce wearer exposure to pathogenic biological airborne particulates.
The DND® Folding Respirator conforms to the GB2626-2006 (KN95) and EN149:2001 (FFP2) standards. Filter performance has been measured to reduce the concentrations of specific aerosols in air that passes through the filter by > 95%.

Intended Use
The DND® Folding Respirator is intended for use in healthcare settings by healthcare personnel (HCP) to cover the nose and mouth of the wearer to help reduce wearer exposure to pathogenic biological airborne particulates.
Contraindications
- Not for use in surgical settings or where significant exposure to liquid, bodily or other hazardous fluids may be expected
- Not for use in the presence of a high intensity heat source or flammable gas
- Not for use with beards, other facial hair or any conditions that prevent a good seal between the face and the respirator.

Inspect Respirator Before Use
Before use, inspect respirator to ensure it is in good operating condition. Examine the mask for any holes, tears, soilage or other signs of damage. Examine the nose clip and ear bands for any breakage, deformation or other signs of damage. Immediately dispose of the respirator if any signs of damage are found.
Fitting Instructions
- Hold the mask with the metallic nose clip up and facing to the outside.
- Move the mask to cover the nose and mouth, pulling the two loops of bands on each side of the mask over the ears.
- Adjust mask position for optimal coverage of both the mouth and nose. Pinch nose clip over the nose bridge for a tight and comfortable fit.
- Adjust tension of elastic band by pulling it from the lose end with fingers on both sides to ensure tight fit and comfort.
- For best protection, ensure the entire circumference of the mask is tightly against the face.
Removal Instructions
- Without touching the respirator, grasp each of the elastic bands and carefully remove from around the ears.
- Dispose of respirator following your facility’s policies and/or applicable regulations.
Storage Conditions
Unused respirators should be stored in the original packaging away from contaminated areas, direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, dust and damaging chemicals.
